MARTIN HALL COUNSELLING

About Me

My Practice

Hello, and thank you for visiting my website. I am a Counsellor and a Supervisor (in training), and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP -193222).

I have been counselling for many years and very passionate about the therapy work that I do with my clients. I have worked with many people over the last 5 years (men, women, adolescents), providing them with counselling for depression, anxiety, anger management, bereavement, relationship issues, stress, low confidence and low self-esteem, addictions.

My experience as a Counsellor enables me to offer you effective, individualised therapeutic counselling. I am able to provide you with a safe, secure and non-judgemental environment within which you can explore your thoughts, feelings and needs.

Are you seeking change to your life; do you want to be free from the difficulties that are currently holding you back? Are you wondering where to go, what to do......then congratulations, your journey and awakening to change has just begun. Make those changes to your life; seek and find a better way of thinking, feeling and living the life that you want, and deserve.

As long as you live lost in thought you are not really living. A life that is experienced only through the mind and its stories is like a black and white picture of a beautiful sunset: drab and dreary.

If you have never experienced counselling before you may feel a little unsure about taking that first step, though doing so may be the beginning to unlocking the potential that is already within you. Just think for a moment about the life that you want to lead; do you want a more fulfilling and purposeful life, free from hurt, sadness and unnecessary pain ? Then let today be the day that you choose to move to a better place of living your life.

'A journey of a thousand miles begin with a single step'   Lao Tzu.

My practice is ideally situated and easily accessible for clients from Herne Bay, Whitstable, Canterbury and Thanet.

Therapy Focus

Everyone deserves a life of meaning, purpose and fulfilment, together we can identify the direction that you want to take.

We achieve this together by you having a safe space for the therapy work; for me to listen and to hear your about your thoughts and feelings.  We'll work together on ways in which you can realise your aims, getting your needs met and to make positive changes to your life.

Client Promise

My promise and commitment is to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you better understand your presenting issues and struggles, to help you make sense of your feelings and thoughts, and to help you move forward to where you want to be in your life.

Our work together will go at your pace and in the direction you feel comfortable. Therapy sessions are your opportunity to reflect on where your life might be, where you want to go and the life you want to live.

Therapy

DEPRESSION & ANXIETY

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives.

Through counselling work I am able to help you recover motivation, perspective and joy to your life.

ANGER

Many individuals can experience difficulties managing feelings of their anger, unable to recognise and manage trigger points that cause angry outbursts that can leave them feeling out of control.

I can help you overcome these symptoms, guiding you through the processes of anger and into a place of better recognising and dealing with triggering situations.

RELATIONSHIPS

Relationship counselling can be beneficial to people that are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationships.

Therapy is a safe place for you to explore your needs, identify your growth areas, in a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationships.
